Pricing questions
How does the free trial work?
The trial includes everything in Group, with up to 15 entities connected. It runs for 14 days or 25 processed invoices, whichever comes first, and the AP Assistant is limited to 25 questions. No credit card is required to start.
What if I have more Xero entities than my plan includes?
Each plan includes 2, 6 or 15 entities. Beyond that, each additional entity is $19 a month on Starter, $29 on Growth or $39 on Group, up to the plan's ceiling of 5, 15 or 40 entities; past the ceiling, move up a plan. The count comes from the entities actually connected to your account, and archived entities don't count. A group with eighteen entities on Group, for example, pays $799 plus three additional entities at $39: $916 a month.
What happens if I exceed my monthly invoice limit?
You'll see a warning at 80% of your allowance. At 100%, new invoice uploads and AI extraction pause until the next billing period or a plan change. Existing documents, approvals and posting keep working.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Change plan from the billing page in the app, which hands off to Stripe's billing portal.
Do you support currencies other than AUD?
Yes. APBuddy extracts whatever currency appears on the invoice and posts it to Xero in that currency. Plan prices are in AUD.
Do I need my own Xero developer app?
No. You connect your Xero organisations through our standard Xero sign-in.
